Summary of Position:

Reporting to the Store Manager (“SM”), the SRA greets and assists customers as they shop within the store, answers questions related to the merchandise and store policies and helps locate items. They will also process payments and keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and has a flare for design to join our growing team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Position-specific responsibilities of the Store Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Creates a welcoming and inspiring customer experience as a company brand ambassador.
• Interact with customers, offers help, and responds to queries about products and purchases.
• Provides recommendations according to customers' needs and preferences.
• Displays ability to upsell and hit sales targets.
• Processes payments through the POS system.
• Cleans assigned areas of the sales floor and ensures merchandise is properly displayed.
• Assists with inventory and processing store deliveries.
• Supports SM with visual merchandising and window display.
• Assists with store events.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a retail space and entails prolonged periods of standing and interacting with customers. This role routinely uses standard retail equipment such as the company’s payment system, computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, and stand. The employee is frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, carry, push, and lift objects up to 75 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• retail: 2 years (Required)
• high end home furnishing and decor sales: 2 years (Preferred)
